Oliver peck is an artist whose whole life revolves around tattooing. He began tattooing when he was just 19 years old in his hometown of Dallas, TX and has perfected his precise and traditional tattooing style making him one of the best and well-known ‘old school’ American style artists. Peck acts a judge on the popular tv show Ink Master. Peck is co-owner of Elm Street Tattoo in Dallas, TX and the owner of True Tattoo located in Hollywood, CA.
Roman Abrego is a seasoned tattoo artist specializing in portraits and color realism, Roman was introduced to tattooing at a young age when his uncle Jerry gave him his first tattoo machine. He does not stick to his home base shop to showcase his skills, instead featuring his talents worldwide and doing guest spots at tattoo shops around the world. Family is central to Roman’s life, as he has two daughters. Roman was honored with the Tattoo Society’s Artist of the Year Award in 2009 and 2010.
Mike DeVries was born and raised in Southern California’s San Fernando Valley. He received his first tattoo when he was 16 years old. He has always been into art, and had a fondness for the realism style. He started tattooing professionally in 2003. As he progressed he found his niche in color realism. In addition to owning and operating MD Tattoo Studio in Northridge, California, he also owns Memento Publishing and keeps busy as co-owner of Stencil Stuff. He has garnered approximately 130 awards in the first seven years that he has been tattooing.
Fernie Andrade is a 25 year old tattoo artist out of Los Angeles. He has been tattooing for 4 years His influences include: Chuey GTC, Nicko Hurtado,Carlos Torres, Alan Padilla, Jose Lopez. Fernie owns and operates at Ink Slingers Tattoo Studio.
Megan Massacre is most know as an artist featured on “NY Ink.” Megan is the Tattoo artist, model, DJ and TV personality. Megan also starred and stars in the “America’s Worst Tattoos.” Based out of New York City and originally from Eastern Philadelphia, Megan tattoos out of the well-known NYC tattoo studio “The Wooster St. Social Club” located in the Soho neighborhood of Manhattan. Megan has been tattooing since 2004 and her artwork can be described as creepy yet cute; combining dark imagery with bold vibrant color to create a unique, whimsical style that is of no other.
Tommy Montoya is a renegade student turned tattoo artist. Tommy learned all he knows through his cousin, his brother and teaching himself. Tommy started scratching out his first tattoos in 1998, learning the low down on tattooing dominantly from Mikey(his brother) who got him professional tattoo machines. His reputation hold him as a portrait style tattooist, however he also does color and script tattoos. He is happily married to his career though doesn’t really consider it work.
Carl Grace is originally from LA. His artistic style was influenced early by a youth spent in placement homes, camps, jail, and prison. He began tattooing in 1998 with a tattoo apprenticeship under Boston John at Skin Grafix in Arcadia, California. Since 2009, Carl has attended over 100 tattoo conventions as an artist and has been a featured guest artist in many tattoo shops around the country. He won his first award at the Tucson Tattoo Exposition in 2010.

Freddy Negrete was incarcerated in the CA Correctional system for most of his teen years. While imprisoned, he began to apply considerable drawing skills to tattooing other inmates, using hand poke or home-made tattoo machines fashioned from cassette player motors, guitar strings and batteries. Upon release he became the first professional Chicano tattoo artist. Freddy also featured in the movie Tattoo Nation.
Jack Rudy is an American tattoo artist notable for his reinvention of the ‘Black and Gray’ style of tattooing, realistic portraits, and single-needle use. He is considered to be one of the top tattoo artists in the world. After leaving the Marines in 1975, Rudy began his career as an apprentice at Goodtime Charlie’s Tattooland, in East Los Angeles under Charlie Cartwright. His very distinct and distinguishable style is renowned for its masterful use of light and dark shades of varying degrees of black and grey. He is the owner of Tattooland, an ‘old school’ street shop, located in Anaheim, California.
